If contest is legitimate, you will never be required to buy anything or pay any money to claim your prize. Regardless of how interesting the offer might sound, never make any payment to claim some prize.
7. Free Merchandise Offer Or Money Back:
Free is lucrative, everybody falls for free stuff. Always remember that, ads that offer to send you free sample of some product will never actually be free. There is always some mischief with the free or sample product offers. The initial first product may be free but then, you might have to pay ridiculous shipping charges or taxes. If you are asked to provide credit card details, they will charge you on monthly or annually basis.
