iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus – Apple Showdown, Which One To Choose?

In 2014, Apple released not one, but two flagship smartphones. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, as they are called, come with very similar configuration, but are not really identical. We are going to take a couple of minutes to see what’s up with both devices and what difference you can find between them. This way, you’ll have an easier time choosing between them.

Well, first of all, there’s the screen, obviously. The iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7 inch display that portrays a more traditional approach on a smartphone. The iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch display and represents Apple’s first attempt at a phablet device. By the sales and broken records, we think it’s safe to say that they did a pretty good job. This an important factor which can easily influence your decision. If you like the classical approach on a smartphone and want to stick with something more compact, than the iPhone 6 seems more like your cup of tea. However, if you are all about the huge displays and plenty of room for navigation and spreading your stuff on-screen, you may want to take a second look at the 6 Plus. Both devices are light and thin, but the iPhone 6 is both thinner and lighter than its big brother.
The smaller of the two can be used with just one hand. Although not as easily as previous Apple flagships, it still is manageable. The 6 Plus on the other hand will have you holding the phone with one hand and using the other one like a stylus. It’s size, which is bigger than a phone but smaller than a tablet, makes it hard to use either holing style (for a phone or a tablet), but it’s not really that much of a torment.
Due to its slightly awkward gripping, the iPhone 6 Plus works a lot better in landscape. While the portrait view is not so natural-like, the landscape mode offers a pretty cool and enjoyable experience. Many developers have noticed this, including Apple themselves, and many of you favorite apps are bound to have a landscape mode by now. Sure, there are still popular apps that haven’t adopted landscape yet, but for the most part, they all contributed to your iPhone 6 Plus landscape experience. As far as screen quality goes, the iPhone 6 Plus takes the cake, thanks to its 1080p display. The iPhone 6 also offers great quality, so even if it falls behind the 6 Plus, it doesn’t mean it isn’t great in itself.
The camera department also requires a photo finish. They are pretty much the same, except for one detail. Aside from the dual-LED configuration, 720p slow-mode, burst shot mode,240 fps shooting capabilities and other features also found on the regular iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus comes with IOS (Optical Image Stabilization). The OIS features is what stand between these two camera being identical.
Another important difference is the price. The Apple iPhone 6 Plus comes with a higher price tag. In terms of price, the 6 Plus is pretty much the regular iPhone, bumped by $100.
What do you think about the new Apple devices? Come with some details and arguments which one is better and we will add them in this article, you can comment in the below section. Although, in my opinion, I would choose the simple iPhone 6 just because is smaller and I can do whatever I want to do with it, iPhone 6 Plus can become handy if in need of a tablet....
